Louise Kaye is a studio-based artist whose large-scale drawings and paintings create immersive environments that invite viewers to step inside. Inspired by the natural world, her practice often begins en plein air, where intimate observation gives way to expressive mark-making and colour. Sliding between private and public worlds, Kaye’s work communicates emotion where words fall short, using painting as a means to draw attention to the environmental crises we face. Kaye holds a BA in Fine Art and Critical Studies from Central Saint Martins, London.
