Lynn Stacey earned her BA from UNISA in 1991, majoring in History and the History of Art. After nearly three decades living and working in Namibia and later in Cape Town’s busy hospitality industry, she returned to her long-held passion for art during the Covid lockdowns. She began painting in watercolour under the tutelage of Inge Semple, and while watercolour remains close to her heart, she has since expanded her practice to include oils, charcoal, and other media under the guidance of Paul Birchall. A long-time supporter of African Tails and other animal welfare causes, Lynn now serves as Chair of the Board for African Tails. She is deeply committed to animal welfare and the environment, both of which continue to inspire her creative journey.
