The Ming dynasty (Chinese: 明朝; pinyin: Ming Cháo), or the Great Ming (Chinese: 大明; pinyin: Dà Ming), also called the Empire of the Great Ming, was the ruling dynasty of China for 276 years (1368–1644) following the collapse of the Mongol-led Yuan dynasty.

This hand-painted stoneware ginger jar from the 17th century Ming period is a stunning piece of Chinese art and is signed by the master at the bottom. Its intricate design showcases the craftsmanship of the era, with provincial stoneware and antique original features adding to its unique character.

With its rich history and cultural significance, this Ming period vase is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a piece of Chinese heritage.

Age related chips, cracks and discolouration. The vase was most likely unearthed.
