Auction Formats

Bidpro provides the widest range of auction formats available. Live Auctions integrate live auctions with online auctions where online bidders bid against floor bidders in real-time and live streaming brings the action and excitement of the live auction to online bidder. Virtual Live auctions follows the format of live auctions where lots open in sequence and all bidders bid against each other on one lot at a time. The lot will be open for a specified time and once closed the next lot will open for bidding. With Timed Auctions, lots will have a pre-defined closing time and the closing time will be extended if bids are placed within 2 minutes of the closing time to give bidders enough time to place bids.

Excel Import

You can create your auction catalogue in Excel and quickly import all your lot information. The Inline editing function allows you to make bulk changes.

Photo Import

Uploading photos can be a tedious task. BidPro has an import utility where you can easily import photos in bulk. Label your items with barcodes and BidPro will automatically add the following photos to the corresponding lot.

Intelligent bid increments

Set your own bid increments. Bidpro will then monitor the bidding pattern of bidders and automatically adjust the bid increments as the bidding progress.

Notifications

In-app notifications will keep your bidders informed during bidding. Receive reminders of upcoming auctions and get a notification if someone else has placed a higher bid than you.

Bidder Registration

Bidders need to register before every auction. You can specify the documents that are required in order to approve the registration. Bidders can upload these documents during registration. Bidders must be approved before they can bid on lots.

Bidder Profile

Bidders can create multiple profiles to register for different auctions. Profiles can be used when bidding on behalf of different entities. Each profile can contain different Company details, addresses and Vat Numbers.

Pre Bidding

With pre bidding a bidder can set a maximum bid amount that he/she is willing to bid for an item before the auction starts. When the auction starts all pre bids are processed before any other bids are accepted. Pre bids are executed in the order that they were placed. Pre bids are processed in line with the opening bid and default bid increments. Pre bids will automatically be converted to auto-bids after the start of the auction. Pre bids can be cancelled at any time before the start of the auction.

Auto Bidding / Absentee Bidding

Auto bids and Absentee bids are essentially the same thing. Auto bids can be placed at any time during the auction. With auto bids, a bidder can specify a maximum amount that he/she is willing to bid on an item. The system will automatically bid on behalf of a bidder until the auto bid amount has been reached. Auto bid amounts must be equal or higher than the next bid amount. Auto bids will be processed in the sequence that they were placed. Auto bids can be cancelled at any time.

Vat/Tax and Commission

You can easily specify the buyers commission and Vat/Tax on a lot by lot basis or globally for the auction.

Invoicing

Easily produce invoices after completion of the auction. Invoices contain the details of the auction house, the buyer as well as the seller if applicable.
